In the process of cutting, the workpiece is heated and stretched to produce bending deformation; Turning is difficult and can cause the workpiece to get stuck. Therefore, the slender shaft is a difficult machining process. Although the car slender shaft is difficult, but it also has a certain regularity, mainly grasp the use of the center frame and tool holder, solve the workpiece thermal deformation and elongation and reasonable choice of tool geometry, the problem is solved.


   The following measures can be taken to reduce the thermal deformation of the workpiece: the use of elastic rotation with elastic rotation machining slender shaft, can relatively compensate the workpiece thermal deformation elongation, the workpiece is not easy to bend, turning can be carried out smoothly. When turning slender shaft with full injection of cutting fluid, it is necessary to add sufficient injection of cutting fluid for cooling in order to reduce thermal deformation caused by temperature rise of workpiece, no matter in low speed cutting or high speed cutting. The use of cutting fluid can also prevent the following tool holder from supporting the paw-pulling workpiece and improve the service life of the tool and the processing quality of the workpiece. The tool is kept sharp to reduce the friction between the tool and the workpiece.
