III. Matters needing attention
(1) Before use, it should be a complete vacuum and then to fill it with water fully to use it to make it have excellent pumping power.
(2) Before installing and use, to pay attention to changing the direction, as the arrow of pump shows, avoiding the parts being destroyed.
(3) While using, if the rubber tube is blocked up by the sand or gravel, it should be dismantled and get rid of them. Don’t operate the machine and pressurize directly to avoid the rubber tube being fractured. Don’t even carry and lift the rubber tube, or else it will sway because of the pressure and hurt the people.
(4) After using it for a while, if the oil or water is found to leak from the base of the machine, you can adjust the screw using both hands according to the anticlockwise direction to make the friction plate in the cover press together with the rubber bowl equipped in the bulgy place of the impeller (use the hand to turn belt wheel, if you meet resistance, it will be suitable). After adjusting, if the oil or water leeks continually, the rubber bowl, the oil seal and the axle sleeve should be changed (if there is friction and it doesn’t go smoothly, it should be grinded to avoid the bearing and the pump base being destroyed)
(5) While installing the rubber bowl, the pipe socket should face the friction plate, if in the contrary direction. The effect of seal is bad. And there should be water in the pump before the machine is operated ,or else, the rubber bowl is easily destroyed without greasing.
(6) In the icing area in the winter, water should be emptied from the pump and oil should be added into the bearing and it should be taken good care of and avoid being rusted.
IV. Common breakdown, causes, ways of getting rid of them:
